3. Workshop within the TCCWB Erasmus+ project.

 The third workshop of the project "Transcultural Competences in the Western Balkans (TCCWB)" on the topic of improving transcultural competences in healthcare was successfully implemented!
From December 3 to 5, 2024, in Brussels, the third workshop within the Erasmus+ TCCWB project, dedicated to transcultural competences of health professionals, was attended by members of the project consortium from Bosnia and Herzegovina (University of Zenica, University of East Sarajevo, University "Džemal Bijedić" Mostar), Albania (University of Shkodra, University of Gjirokastra), as well as the host ODisee from Belgium, partners from the University of Turku from Finland, and representatives of the non-governmental sector, project partners Fami Foundation and SMOC from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The key moments of the workshop included:
 – Interesting discussions during the meeting of the Board of Directors,
 – Inspirational lectures and workshops by Bleri Leši on cultural competences,
 - Informative presentations by Hanse Hogeschool and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) on the challenges of providing health care in multicultural environments.
– Presentations on the procurement of equipment for our universities as well as plans for the implementation of the pilot project at the universities participating in the project, led by Mirza Oruč, PhD
The University of Zenica team consisted of Prof. Harun Hodžić, PhD, Mirza Oruč, PhD, and assistant Martina Marić.
