On 15/16/04/2024. conference was held in PEU support for health sector reforms in Bosnia and Herzegovina - Realizing the potential of health system reforms in Bosnia and Herzegovina guided by primary health care with the aspect of reforming the education of health professionals of all professions.
For this conference, the WHO Regional Office for Europe and the Office for Bosnia and Herzegovina managed to assemble a strong team of WHO experts and consultants, led by Mr. Cris Scotter, Human Resources Advisor for Health Policy from the WHO Regional Office for Europe. The team would be available to discuss the current state of health professions education and identify challenges and opportunities for further development in Bosnia and Herzegovina, present and discuss best practices and models in health professions education, including examples of countries from across the WHO European Region, and to agreements on next steps and further areas for WHO support in the field of human resource development for health.
As representatives of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zenica, assistant professor Mirza Oruč and assistant professor Adnan Mujezinović attended.
