Meeting of the South East European Health Network (SEEHN)

In the period 21.-23. In May 2024, representatives of the Federal Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Srpska, the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, representatives of member countries of the Network, the World Health Organization, the Project for Strengthening Nursing in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and health institutions and higher education institutions from our country and region participate in the two-day thematic meeting of the Health Network of Southeast Europe (SEEHN).

The priorities are the strengthening of nursing in Southeast Europe, the roadmap of the Regional Development Center for Nursing, and the exchange of experiences with the aim of improving the situation in nursing in the region and beyond.

The project "Strengthening nursing in Bosnia and Herzegovina - ProSes", since 2012, provides intensive support to partners from the health and educational system in areas related to nursing, such as the establishment of regulatory mechanisms, standardization of nursing services, expansion of the nursing model in the community, education nurses/technicians and strengthening the nursing profession.

 The representative of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zenica was Mirza Oruč, associate dean for scientific and research work of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zenica.
