On-line guest appearance by Victor Olsavszky, Ph.D.
On the occasion of celebrating World Health Day (April 7), the director of the Health Care study program, Doctor of Science Victor Olsavszky, director of the WHO office in Bosnia and Herzegovina, addressed the first and second year students of the OJ Faculty of Medicine. The lecture was based on pointing out the importance of nurses/technicians and midwives in the health system, especially if we know that the World Health Organization dedicated the year 2020 to nurses/technicians and midwives. One part of the lecture could not fail to be about the current global health situation, the COVID-19 pandemic.
Students had the opportunity to ask questions and hear new information and exchange opinions with our guest in a very interesting discussion. We would like to thank Dr. Olsavszky and the WHO Office for Bosnia and Herzegovina for their cooperation and support.
