Objectives
The main goal of this project is to improve the education of doctors in higher education institutions in the Western Balkans (WBC HEIs) in accordance with societal needs, with the support of higher education institutions from the European Union (EU HEIs) in the development and implementation of a new learning model.
Specific project goals
Enable students to use conceptual, procedural and metacognitive knowledge in order to solve real problems, by implementing a new learning model
Develop the capacity of WBC HEIs to further enhance blended learning through collaboration with and cooperation with EU universities.
Dissemination activity 03/14/2024.
The University of Zenica, i.e. the Faculty of Medicine, organized the first dissemination event for the Problems project. This event was attended by 22 associates of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zenica from the Health Care study program. Dissemination was held on March 14, 2024. in which Prof. Dejan Bokonjić, Ph.D. and Mirza Oruč, Prof. Ph.D. and Prof. Adnan Mujezinović, Ph.D., held a series of presentations on both the project and activities, as well as new methods of metacognitive learning such as PBL. The attendees responded very well to these presentations and most of the attendees are part of the working groups that will work on creating new ways of metacognitive learning in the Health Care study program.
