V workshop within the TCCWB project – Pilot program development
The fifth workshop of the "Transcultural Competences in the Western Balkans (TCCWB)" project on the topic of improving transcultural competences in healthcare has been successfully completed! 
From March 25 to 27, 2025, Sarajevo hosted the fifth workshop as part of the EU project on transcultural competences in healthcare, which brought together experts, educators, and healthcare professionals from across the region! 
The organizers of the workshop were the Fami Foundation, Sarajevo Meeting of Cultures and the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zenica. Over the course of three days we:
Heard insights from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Federal Ministry of Health and other public health leaders on transcultural competence Researched innovative teaching methodologies
Developed a pilot training program for health professionals 
Had constructive discussions on strengthening nursing education in the Western Balkan countriesA BIG THANK YOU to all participants and lecturers for a successful and inspiring event!
