ANNIVERSARY OF THE TRAINING CENTER OF THE MEDICAL FACULTY OF UNZE

12.02.2017. year, it has been a year since the ceremonial opening and the start of work of the training center of the Medical (Health) Faculty of the University of Zenica. The training center was founded with the idea of better development of the skills and knowledge of nurses/technicians in the Health Care study program of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zenica, but also as a center for continuous education and scientific research in the field of nursing and health sciences. The training center (TC) was established with the help of EU funds through the implementation of the Tempus project CCNURCA (Competence based Curriculum Nursing in Western Balkan countries), part of the equipment was purchased with the help of the ProSES project (project to strengthen nursing in BiH), while the largest part of the funds was provided by the faculty itself and the University of Zenica. As part of TC activities, a large number of both teaching and research activities have been realized so far. During the last year, TC hosted lecturers from the field of nursing and health sciences from the region and all over Europe, in addition to the lecturers, students who spent the mobility period at OJ MedF UNZE participated in the work of TC for a large part of the activities.

The work plan of TC OJ Medf UNZE in the coming year includes the following activities: teaching process, research process, additional education courses, promotional activities, etc.

It is extremely important to note that a space for the development of student ideas and innovations has been created as part of TC Oj MedF UNZE, which is supported by the development and implementation of activities of the tempus project IdeaLAB, which, in addition to standard equipment, also includes equipment for the development of 3D technologies in the field of healthcare.

TC, in addition to standardized equipment for education (multimedia equipment and specific equipment (mannequins, models, trainers, etc.)) has equipment for analysis, development and improvement of nursing procedures and interventions.

Assistant Mirza Oruč MA was appointed as the head of the training center.
