Visit of the founding members to the Training Center of the UNZE Faculty of Medicine

The training center of the UNZE Faculty of Medicine hosted on April 17, 2017. year, the students of the 1st grade of JU Elementary School ¨Meša Selimović¨ who, accompanied by teacher Alma Jusić, school director Mr. Amir Zukić and parents' representative Medina Asotić, spent their working day visiting our institution. As part of this activity, Medf UNZE and its staff also fulfill the third role of a higher education institution, which is work for the wider social community, along with education and research. During the visit, elementary school students were able to learn about the basics of the human body, the functioning of a medical institution, the basic duties of a medical worker, and have the opportunity to ask various questions. The activities carried out by the UNZE Faculty of Medicine in cooperation with the wider community are proof that this Faculty works on all segments of its development and daily improvement. Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Harun Hodžić, Ph.D., Ph.D., received a letter of thanks from the students and principal of the ¨Meša Selimović¨ primary school for the cooperation achieved in the past period.
The presentation for the students was led by assistant professor Mirza Oruč MA, head of the Training Center together with students of the first and second year of the Health Care study program. The presentation was enriched by guests from abroad, lecturer Tim Torsy, who is coming to us from Belgium from Odisee Hoegschool, and Perihan Šimšek from the University of Trabzon, Turkey.
